                Self Assessment & Quality Improvement

Any provider involved with funded delivery has to produce an annual SAR. Additionally, they also have to produce a Quality Improvement Plan which must to be reviewed periodically and evidence must be provided that this has taken place.

The SAR and QIP are vital planning tools and since the introduction of Framework for Excellence it has become even more important as actions should now map to the FFE performance indicators. Providers must also show evidence to OfSTED that the SAR has been developed collaboratively and that regular QIP review has taken place.

Without a robust self assessment report providers will quickly lose their funding. Self Assessment Reports have to be honest and clearly reflect the provider’s position. They must also flow from one year to the next with the QIP becoming a working document designed to implement and manage change.

Working with providers we develop the SAR and also conduct regular reviews of the QIP. We also map the SAR and QIP objectives and actions against the OfSTED Key Questions, Framework for Excellence and the organisation's own internal goals.

                Quality Improvement Plan

Demonstrating continual improvement is a key requirement for education and training providers. We implement a number of effective systems and processes to make this possible.

Working with you we implement a quality improvement plan tracking system that identifies:
                • Objectives
                • Outcomes
                • Actions
Outcomes and objectives are mapped to key requirements such as organisational goals, OfSTED questions, Framework for Excellence performance indicators or quality framework criteria.

Staff are then allocated their respective actions that can then be tracked and reminders are sent automatically ensure that the quality improvement plan is updated on a regualar basis. Critically, the systems allow for supporting evidence to be added to all improvement plan findings.

VQ Solutions then reviews the improvement plans with the provider, identifying further actions, buidling on strengths and developing addtional continual improvement processes.
