About
Our Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship is designed to equip apprentices with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of team leading/supervising within a business.
Throughout this Apprenticeship, participants will be supported by assessors who have worked in a leading environment and have gained many years of experience and who can truly support learners in developing the skills and knowledge required to develop a career in Team Leading.
The Apprenticeship is designed to last 12 months, with Apprentices having monthly contact with their assessor, either through a face-to-face visit or telephone contact. Assessors will guide apprentices through each module to ensure they are applying their knowledge and skills to their job role. Our assessors will also help to build the portfolio of evidence with each apprentice to demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have gained.
How is the Apprenticeship Delivered?
This apprenticeship is delivered through workshops that take place either in our training centre in Harrogate, in Leeds or at employer locations. Apprentices will also access our learning platform to access online learning and to build their portfolio.
Completing the apprenticeship
This is an apprenticeship standard so all apprentices have to go through the endpoint assessment process, also known as EPA. To complete the endpoint, apprentices will be required to:
- Knowledge Test
- Portfolio Assessment
- Interview
- CPD Journal Professional Discussion
